Disconnet

Disconnect several MEP elements from each other in one click, without touching their connections to anything outside your selection.

General Description

Disconnet breaks every connection that exists between the elements you select — pipes, fittings, ducts, or equipment — while leaving each element's connections to anything outside your selection untouched. Everything is done in a single transaction, so partial results are never left behind.

This is useful for detaching a group of connected elements before moving, replacing, or reorganizing them, without accidentally disconnecting them from the rest of the system.

Requirements

• At least two selected elements, with at least one connection between them.

Usage Procedure

1. Select two or more connected MEP elements.
2. Open Disconnet from the MEP panel on the Frata ribbon tab.
3. Every connection between the selected elements is broken; connections to elements outside the selection are left as they were.

Recommendations

• If nothing happens, confirm that at least two of your selected elements are actually connected to each other — a warning appears when there's nothing to disconnect.
• Use this before repositioning a connected assembly, so you don't have to manually detach each connector first.
