Wall Rebar

Generate vertical and horizontal reinforcement for structural walls, with a live preview before you commit to it.

General Description

Wall Rebar creates vertical and horizontal reinforcement layers on the exterior and interior faces of structural walls. Configure bar type, spacing, and hook type independently for each face and direction, or mirror the exterior settings to the interior with a single toggle when both sides match. A live schematic preview, color-coded by bar role, shows exactly what will be generated before you run the tool, and your settings can be saved and reused as profiles for future walls.

• One or more structural walls selected.

Usage Procedure

1. Select the wall or walls to reinforce.
2. Open Wall Rebar from the Structure panel on the Frata ribbon tab.
3. Configure vertical and horizontal bars for the exterior face — bar type, spacing, and hooks.
4. Configure the interior face the same way, or enable Same as Exterior to copy the exterior settings.
5. Check the schematic preview, then press Execute to generate the reinforcement.

Recommendations

• Save a configuration as a profile once you have a standard layout for a given wall type, so you don't need to re-enter it on every wall.
• Use the preview's color coding (vertical/horizontal × exterior/interior) to confirm the layout matches your drawings before committing.
